What the french toast, man?!

Hey Hey Hey Hey..smoke weed everyday

Hey guys! Sorry for my unexplained absence. Don't you just love when I go all blog silent and crap? I actually always feel really guilty about it, but sometimes, $hit happens and I can't blog, and sometimes nothing actually happens, but I still can't blog. But anyways, now I'm back! or so I thought. I was all set to blog up a storm this week, catch you guys up on all the new stuff I haven't talk about AND hit you with my Soap Box Wednesday post. But as fate would have it, the cord that charges my laptop ripped, and I can't really use my computer until the new one I bought on EBay arrives. That is exactly what I wanted to spend some un-budgeted cash on just 13 days before my return to Spain (excited!). Not awesome. But regardless, the real issue is that I've just been absurdly disorganized. My charging cord didn't stop working until Monday. What the hell did I do with my time last week? How can I do better? Where's my car?

To all my everyday bloggers, how on earth do you do it? I don't understand, between "work", poodle-wrangling, poling, and cooking and now attempting to get my Etsy shop off the ground, I often feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to write from that special ranty, profane, and greedy place inside my heart. I keep saying I've got to do better, but I'm actually at a loss of how to do that. So any suggestions would be helpful, because I'm all a mess these days. And that's just no bueno.

Anyways, I'm off to pole. Catch y'all later.

  1. Me too. I give up for weeks at a time. I wish I could be even a consistent 3x a week blogger, but I'm not. I feel there are two factors at play : 1.) I expect/demand an unreasonable amount of downtime 2.) I have no work ethic.

  2. The only way I've figured out how to fit it all in is to sleep less! haha

  4. I try to do 2-3 posts a week. Sometimes I'm successful. I don't know how everyday folks do it either. Bloglad mystery because there simply aren't that many hours in my day.

  5. I agree with Kristin....sleep less! Ha! I also try to keep my posts short. Like have one thought I want to put out there a day. That way, I have more content to write about throught the week. Also on the weekend, I try to make a couple of skeleton posts. So I jot down some genrral thoughts (and think of photos I want to insert) and then go back and finish them when I'm ready.

  6. I try to do 2-3 posts per week and most weeks I'm successful. Sometimes I have the time for elaborate, detailed posts and other times I keep it simple. I also like writing three posts on the weekend and spacing them out for the week. It gives you time to build up new content.

  8. I do start skeleton posts, but I'm obsessive about my writing, and so it's
always an absurdly long process when I post. I guess I'm going to have to
get back in my college rythm. sleep less. do more. lol

  9. I was doing well with 3 posts a week for a bit, and then I fell of the wagon
again. But i think that's just going to always be the story of my life at
    this point.

  10. I've got to get better with giving my skeelton posts more structure. I feel like I think of my best dialogue when I'm nowhere near a computer. go figure. And I don't even want to talk about my backlog of food posts that haven't made it up yet.

  11. I've always struggled with consistency, so I'm back...for now at least. And I'm so glad your aunt likes my blog, tell her I said Hi!
